The St. Johns Farmer’s Market is a volunteer-run, grassroots non-profit. All of our funding is from grants and donations. We strive to provide the largest amount of fun and entertainment our limited budget affords.
Beginning in 2012, we were burdened with the financial responsibility of ASCAP fees on the playing of all music, recorded or live (original material included). Needless to say, this took a large portion of our already meager entertainment budget.
In 2012, we limited music to once a month, which was not well received. For the 2013 season, we’ve decided to have music every week, featuring live music on the first market day of the month. Go to the St. Johns Farmers Market calendar for information about entertainment and activities.
