Healthy Living: Learn, eat, grow
Meet three of our major Healthy Living booth supporters:
Portland’s Culinary Workshop provides hands-on cooking classes for the masses!
No matter what your skill set is, we deliver hands on classes for the food enthusiast, including kids classes, in a relaxed environment with a bit of sass for good measure! A constant rotating calendar of classes means you will have a never ending flow of new topics to come play and learn from in our workshop.
Melinda and Susana feel that not only is it important for people to have fun in the kitchen, foster good eating habits for themselves and their children and take the burden away from making great meals together, but to encourage the community to come together to support local growers and farmers. Growing their own food in Portland’s Culinary Workshop’s urban garden, teaching people of all ages how to harvest and use the food is a way for Melinda and Susana to connect with the community on the basic level of the greatest shared human experience…eating!
